The winning (in every sense of the term) entry, by Alejandro Bruzzese, in Project Rooftop’s Fantastic Four: Fashion 4ward costume redesign competition. I was a judge, and contributed my usual rambling disquisitions on Here-I-Come-To-Save-The-Daywear.
Click the picture for a great deal of discussion over a great many entries, all of which were, in their own way … um, great.
This was the toughest challenge yet, I think. Because you’re not creating one look, you’re creating five — an overall team design, and four individual iterations of it.
Also, not for nothing: Reed should have a lab coat. And horn-rimmed safety glasses with those … wire-mesh side-panels? You know? And a pipe, for good measure.
This I believe.
I WILL DIE ON WHAT I REALIZE IS THIS REALLY JUST INCREDIBLY NERDY HILL.
So savor your victory, cargo pant. Well deserved. (Seriously, that’s a great drawing.)
But know ye that the lab coat patiently bides its time, knowing its day will come.
